Story Sale to Circus: Fantasy Under the Big Top

Look at this lovely cover. And I'm in it! With my reprint science fiction story, 'Welcome to the Greatest Show in the Universe." I've just found out, and I'm so excited.

Edited by Ekaterina Sedia, Table of contents buddies with Ken Scholes, Peter Straub, Howard Waldrop, Genivieve Valentine, Jeff Vandermeer  and Cate Gardner.

Pinch me I must be dreaming.

    1. I know! I was checking the date when the story was first published, Cate. It was in Sideshow Fables 2009, and who did I see on the table of contents? Catherine J Gardener.

That has to be the first time we were TOC buddies.

    1. Elise was the one who gave me the tip, Amanda. It's made me start thinking about how to find out about the anthologies that don't make it to duotrope.

      I could be missing out.

I'm so pleased that you're in it, too. I'm going over to your place right now, with champagne.

    1. Hey Rusty. I'm pleased to see that you're sending stuff out. It's the only way, but it can be depressing. Just get yourself into automatic mode. Then every now and again, you get a little beauty.
