'Drink Deep and Long the Circean Poison' has been reprinted at Domain SF.
I used Arnie Rimmer from Red Dwarf as a starting point for my main character in this one. And Hemingway as a starting point for another character. That was a fun technique. Which for some reason I never did again. Note to self: do it again.
Do you ever use people real or imaginary as jumping points for your characters?
Way to go, Deborah -- you are the reprint master. I often start with real people, but I twist them so badly they're barely recognizeable.
