First 200 words of your story, critiqued by IGMS editor

edit -- This is closed now, he's got the 20.

If you're quick and brave,  you can get the first 200 words of your short story critiqued online by Edmund Schubert, editor of Orson Scott Card's Intergalactic Medicine Show. He's going to comment on the first 20 entries on the Magical Words Blog.

I'm not doing it. I'm too chicken. But you should.

  2. Edmund Schubert? Oh, wow . . . but I think I'm too chicken as well. I don't really have any short stories in suitable condition, anyway.

  6. That whole discussion/interchange between authors and Schubert was amazing. Very helpful - I got as much from how he said things as what he said! Even blogged about it here: http://blogginoutloud.blogspot.com/2011/12/right-way-to-critique.html - Thanks for the link/suggestion. I would have submitted my 200 words but was way late to the party. :)
