Bio-documentarian up at Cosmos, Perseus up at Mirror Dance

Yesterday was a good day. Scarcely two week after acceptance, my science fiction story 'The Bio-documentarian of the British Library' was published by Cosmos Online, and my poem 'Perseus' was published at Mirror Dance, one of my favourite fantasy 'zines.

February Fahrenheit

I'm doing the Write1Sub1 challenge, write a story  every week, and sub something every week (there's also a monthly version). This prestigious award, shows that I managed the February Challenge.

The challenge is still open to writers, come and join us. It's a lot of fun.

The Write1Sub1 link is a guilty reminder that I should be writing.

  6. "The perfume of my history" - now that's a great line. I'll have to return to check out your Cosmos story in full.

Congrats on reaching your February W1S1 goals!

And thank you for directing me to Scifaikuest - they accepted one of my haiku today for their August anniversary issue, and I owe it all to YOU.

  7. Jeez there are so many challenges I don't know where people find the time. I actually have to work for a living.

  8. ooh look at all these lovely comments.

Rogue Mutt-- thanks for stopping by. It's depressing when you start comparing. Fr'instance I got the feeling that I write too slowly, the other day. Still haven't managed 10K in a day. 10K in a week would be great for me. Meh. Just keep doing your own thing.

Milo --We going to be TOC buddies on that issue. Scifaikuest is great. I keep smiling when I think of Teri. I bet he's wondering why he's getting so many great subs at the moment. And it all goes around, you pointed me in the direction of the Mammoth Book of Steampunk the other day.

  9. Sam and JL, thanks guys. I do seem to be writing a lot of flash and tweets, lately. Working on my seemingly endless novella/novellette this week to even things out.

JL, you'll get there, and we'll be there to cheer you on.

Michael and Crystal, thanks for sharing my good news.

  11. Thanks, Simon. I'm strugling this write1 sub2 this week with this darn novella. No way is it going to be finished.I'm going to persevere.

But I've just started (in the last hour) a cheeky little story about cephalophores (a person carrying their own head)
